Poop or Get Off the Potty
Potty training to me is a rough trail of parenting phase. I’ve been changing my second daughter’s diapers for 2 years and 3 months. I think I had enough share of this diaper changing task.
If you have kids, you know that kids can do business just like adults. Those adorable angels could produce biohazard that is so foul that even their own parents want to run away from it.
I’ve been ready for my petite stinkster to be potty trained for a while. She finally started using a potty adjustable seat.
We have this Japanese picture book called “Can you poop by yourself?”, which is sitting on top of the cover of toilet. Japanese people are not shy about potty talk. Neither am I.
My daughter likes to read this book (as well as other books) when I put her on the potty. I don’t think it helps, but at least it entertains her when she’s on there.
She still doesn’t tell me before she goes #2, but I think she’s getting there. I realized that I can’t be too pessimistic since she’s not going to keep using diapers too long from now. I learned from my previous experience that rushing doesn’t help. I just have to be patient.
