Decorating Easter Eggs

April 3, 2010

For the first time we decorated Easter Eggs as a family. It’s such a joy to see our kids grow up and be able to share the experience and holidays with them. It was actually my first time to decorate Easter Eggs, too. I have to thank my husband for the idea to do this today.

I was afraid that it would be a messy process, but it was quite manageable. We were out all day today, so we did this activity after we finished dinner. The girls were already in their pajamas, but surprisingly they did not stain them. Kids enjoyed decorating eggs very much.

My older daughter pretty much scattered glitter paint in a free form on dyed eggs. Later on I googled and found out that if you draw on eggs with a white crayon, the design will show up after you put eggs in dye. I wish I looked it up before we did our egg decorating. Maybe next year.

Happy Easter!!
