Friday Finds ☆ Clear River Fredericksburg Texas

July 28, 2011

Camera: Canon PowerShot S3IS.

Before we went to Fredericksburg, Texas for a fantastic show at Rock Box, we had lunch in town. My husband’s step-dad researched for a place to have lunch and picked Clear River Ice Cream, Baker and Deli on a main street of Fredericksburg. The sandwiches there was delicious. To me the best part was the decor. I loved the way the restaurant was decorated. It had some cool antique items that filled one side of the wall. It was fun to look at! The chocolate candies and ice cream were very tempting, but I managed to shake off the temptation. We had an eating fest everyday during our stay in Texas that I didn’t need to add any dessert to it. If you visit Fredericksburg, Texas, I’d recommend Clear River for lunch. Your kids would love it, too!

Oh wow! It’s so American :) such vibrant and retro feeling, reminds me of Archie (comic)… You’re amazing for resisting the temptation after seeing those desserts!

Hi Kaho, those desserts look tempting indeed! I don’t think I have the strength of will to say no to those! Go you!
