Friday Finds ☆ KOI Mahakam, Jakarta
I took these photos at KOI Mahakam a long time ago with my old camera, Canon PowerShot S3 IS. I don’t know what happened, but the holidays got me and then we went on a trip to Vietnam. I wish I posted the photos of KOI Mahakam much earlier. Both KOI Kemang and KOI Mahakam are our favorite restaurants in Jakarta. For European food restaurants in Jakarta, I can’t think of any other restaurants that would be as good as KOI for serving European dishes. I love KOI’s interior design as well. The industrial modern designed tables and chairs with Indonesian twist lined up in dim lights and the restaurant space decorated with a European touch make you forget that you are in Asia.
We got owner’s recommendations and every single plate we ate was absolutely divine. Every bite was a mouthful of delight.
I realized that I have not gone back to KOI Mahakam in ages. I need to go. As many times as possible now that we only have a year left in Jakarta. I have no time to waste in Jakarta and I have to get my act together! I like the life style we pursue where we know that the time in a certain place has a limit. I am a short-term goal person, so I do better when I have a little time pressure to achieve my goals.
