Have you heard of Wikki Stix? I feel like I have seen it somewhere before, but I didn’t know much about it until recently. These strings my daughters are sticking on a piece of paper is Wikki Stix.

The end result of our craft activity is this.

Now my girls have a birthday card they created to give to one of their friends.

I heard that Wikki Stix are already available at Kinokuniya Book Stores in Jakarta. I should check because I wouldn’t mind buying some for my friends’ kids. I love receiving crafty items for birthday gifts. I know that parents would like no mess crafts and it’s easy and safe to let your kids play with them because it’s made of non-toxic wax used in bubble gum and lipstick. I have a baby, so these are important factors. You can take wikki stix to a restaurant, airplane, or in a car. Wikki Stix are light enough to pack in your purse.

Disclosure

I normally do not take any paid articles on my blog. I have never done and I don’t plan on doing so in the future. I also have never taken any advertisement request by receiving a free sample. It is just a matter of principle to me because I want to be truthful to my readers so that they know that my recommendations come from my heart. Some probably don’t agree with my recommendations or don’t like what I like and it’s okay. I don’t expect everyone to like what I like. At least for those who read my blog, they know that I don’t have other intentions for my recommendations.

I am writing this even though I was asked to write a post about it at first. I was offered to receive a free sample to try and write a post about it. I went to the website of Wikki Stix and learned about it first. I found Wikki Stix a fun creative toy for kids and I was curious even though I hesitated to take the offer at first. I exchanged dialogues with the personnel with Wikki Stix and got a deal where I could take a sample under the condition that if my kids or I didn’t like it, I do not have to write an article, but if they do, I will. I picked up a small thing of sample that was enough for each of my girl to make one thing. That was it.

Now that being said, you can guess that we liked it. Yes. Indeed, I did. My kids really enjoyed being crafty with Wikki Stix and it was great that it only required a piece of paper, a pencil, Wikki Stix and Scissors. Wikki Stix sticks to many things for example, paper, so all they needed to do was to stick it to the paper. No mess, no loss. It was great!

My kids spent hours playing with Wikki stix! They love making people and animals with them and they stuck them to the walls and furniture. I even liked playing with them :)
